1. The 'Create Workout' page is complicated, how do I use it?

Creating a workout is the most complex activity on the site, so let's dig in. A workout contains one or more rounds. A round contains one or more items. Each item is an exercise with corresponding attributes (e.g., weight, reps, distance, minutes, seconds).

Start editing the existing exercise by clicking on the edit (pencil) button and setting its attributes. Then you can add more exercises (+ex) to the round or start on a new round (+round) and repeat the process.

The arrow buttons allow you to move exercises within a round or even between rounds. And don't forget about the 'duplicate' button, it can definitely speed up the process.

Last but not least choose a good name and give a nice description of the workout so that anyone can see what's involved and what to log.

  2. How many rounds do I include when I create an AMRAP workout?

For AMRAPs just include the first round.

  3. How do I log a workout?

Each workout page has a green checkbox button that takes you to the 'log it' page. Your result will be anything you would normally write down in a notebook; choose a date; add any notes that you want to remember.

  4. What is this site?

This site came about because I wanted a way to log my workouts from anywhere and see my workout history anywhere. It's in beta. It may stay in beta...I haven't decided yet. But I've found it useful so we'll see what happens.

  5. What is a workout?

A workout, also known as a WOD (workout of day), is made up of one or more rounds. Each round having one or more exercises.

  6. What is an exercise?

A simple movement such as a push-up, pull-up, sit-up, or squat. Exercises can have variations such as a weighted push-up, or back squat.
